Every year, the federal government quietly funnels around $40 billion straight to insurance companies through cost-sharing reduction subsidies. These payments get sent automatically. There’s no congressional vote, no annual debate, no accountability. The money just flows. Meanwhile, everyday Americans still face insane deductibles and co-pays high enough to make anyone think twice before setting foot in a doctor’s office. The supposed “affordability” is an illusion built on taxpayer-funded handouts that prop up corporate profits.
Nonprofit hospitals, the ones constantly waving the banner of community service, aren’t exactly hurting, either. They rake in more than $125 billion every year in tax breaks because of their “nonprofit” status. That means they skip out on property, income, and sales taxes, while still cashing in from every direction. Medicare alone overpays them by another $28 billion each year, and hospitals charge anywhere from 60–80% more than independent doctors for the exact same procedures. More

And you thought Big Pharma was a problem.
It’s a One Stop Money Laundering Shop. It was 100% set up to be. It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to with improving anyone’s healthcare and never was about that.
It was and is all about funneling billions and billions of dollars to insurance companies who make damn sure that 10% gets back to the Big Guys.
And all of it is unsupported by our Constitution.
Shut it all down and get the Federal Government out of the “healthcare” business.

The key part of 0-care is that it mandates the purchase of health insurance. Not only that, it mandates a ridiculous ‘minimum standard’, which includes everything under the sun including $1,000 a month ‘birth control’ (remember Sandra Fluke’s testimony?) That means that your mandatory insurance is super-expensive. But then they did the subsidies – well, not for you and me but for ‘qualified’ people.
But the additional parts are certainly grift for their favored people/organizations.
And of course the solution is to blow it all up, get the gov’t 100% OUT of healthcare, and the free market will make healthcare AMAZING, and even preventative and healthy living promoting rather than just providing pills and surgery.

There is absolutely nothing whatsoever that Democrats have ever done or proposed that was sincerely claimed to make anything more affordable for anyone who isn’t already on the government tit. Not one damn thing.
Stinklosi also made multiple Millions off the stocks of the insurance companies and hospitals.
Just another insidious scheme cooked up by the democRAT Communist party disguised as “care” to loot the Treasury by massive amounts to weaken, if not destroy the United States as per Cloward Piven… and Piven is still alive and was involved up to and including the Biden administration.
Increase competition. Currently there are laws prohibiting one from acquiring out-of-state health insurance for most people which restricts competition. Allow people to buy health insurance tailored for their needs; when my wife and I were much younger, we purchased major medical coverage which basically kicked in only in cases of catastrophoic illness or injury – and that was fine at the time. As we aged, we no longer needed birth control or obstetrics coverage. I have also noticed a decrease in the quality of service at many hospitals; competition would fix this without government involvement.
A particular bug-a-boo for me is the focus on drugs to treat whatever condition you have, when in fact the best treatment was for the doctor to tell me “lose weight lard ass, and get some exercise.” Most of the doctors I visited during my lifetime focused on drugs and related therapy instead of what turned to be relatively minor lifestyle changes. Quit eating when you are full. Go for a walk instead of binging on the boob tube. Cut down on refined sugar – you don’t need to eat the whole bag of M&Ms. Figure out what causes unnecessary stress and eliminate that. Get more sleep. And most importantly don’t stress if you fall off the wagon and eat the whole pizza – try again tomorrow.
Cutting through all of the horseshit, it was also designed to break the best healthcare system in the world. Progressives are 100% invested in increasing innocent human suffering, misery and death here on earth. Their ultimate goal however is to separate as many souls from God as they can. Pleasing their Dark Prince is what they think will lead him to deliver on his promises. Satan, however, is a liar, a murder and a thief. They will just continue for eternity in the suffering they have freely chosen for themselves.
Urologist I used for over 20 years threw in the towel. He was so busy that getting an appointment took a month. His costs went through the roof because of government mandates. The insurance companies cutting payments while adding demands did not help. Neurologist pretty much told the same story. At the end, his office manager was making more than he was. He too gave up.
0bamacare is what happens when Congress lets lobbyists write legislation.
