My kid prowls around the house like a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Not because he identifies as a dinosapien. Nor because of reptilian human intersectionality. It’s because he engages in an activity traditionally known as “playing”. As rational parents, his mother and I recognize this as the normal behavior of a 7-year-old with a healthy imagination and not as a sign of species dysphoria, which is why we have chosen not to put him through arm reduction surgery or have him fitted with a prosthetic tail.

I have a niece who is proudly grooming a trans child. She lives in another state so I don’t see them more than once a year, at best, but she sends me a christmas card with a family photo.
It breaks my heart every time I see him. I wonder how much is genuine gender dysphoria and how much is being pushed on him by his parents/teachers/therapists? I am sure that one day in early childhood he played with dolls or put on his mother’s dress or makeup and things snowballed from there.
The last photo I got from her, he looked as though he had been taking hormones — or been snipped. In this day and age, there isn’t anything I can do or say that wouldn’t get me ostracised or arrested — and to no avail.
He will soon be entering his teenage years. If they have done irreversible physical damage, the psychological damage will be permanent and likely short-lived. His parents and their enablers will blame society and religion. I wonder who he will blame?
I see it as an attempt to use willing dupes (useful idiots) to actively screw up the next generation so that they cannot possibly compete on the world stage. Very similar to Common Core. Imagine getting an Engineer or scientist from that club!!
Make America weaker any way possible… and this is just one more way.
