The fitted sheet – a tale of two sheets. It was the best of sheets, it was the worst of sheets. You can have a sheet that fits easily on the bed, or you can have a sheet that folds easily, but you can’t have both.

We have two sets of sheets for the bed. The warm weather is a 900 thread count Egyptian cotton set and cold weather is a flannel set. They are pulled off, washed, and put back on hot out of the dryer. We fold sheets maybe 4 times a year.

@Tsquared — You and I have the right method!
I do fold sheets for a couple of family members who are short and have short arms. When you have long arms, folding sheets isn’t a big deal. And I don’t understand the problems people have with fitted sheets. I start by getting the four corner pockets nested together and when that doesn’t work stuff the unfolded sheets into a clean pillowcase and toss the whole thing into the linen closet. Easy-peasy-cheddar-cheesy!

That is basically how mine are. They look the same when I try to fold them so I save time and don’t.
