  1. I’ve yet to see anything that has convinced me there is an actual ‘war’ going on there. Footage from Air Shows and a fire in someone’s back yard doesn’t count. I’m skeptical of anything the MSM sends or reports.

This is pretty close to what my Electra looked like, wasn’t this color and had steel wheels, but this is close…

…this car had a 350 Quad, dual exhaust, and a curb weight around 6500 pounds empty. Not good on gas and it took a minute to get to speed, but it had some ass to it and would crumple modern cars like potato chips. Mine was a 2 door like this, but those were 2 HUGE doors and just the wind off of them opening would probably crumple a Kia in short order.

The speedo on cars coming out of the Carter years only went to 85. That’s a shame because I pegged it many, many times, not sure what it ultimately did in the days before the local Sheriff got a helicopter, but it was a LOT whatever it was…

  3. Kharkov has seen this before. In WWII this city changed hands SIX separate times between July, 1941 and March, 1943. Im guessing on that final changeover, there probably wasn’t a single brick that was on top of another brick

  4. Not to be a language weenie, but Kharkiv (Харків) does not start with the same consonant as Kyiv (Киів)

If they did, then whats the point of the “H”? In fact, the Kh is a form of “heavy H” like the H in the German “Achtung” … Now that you know this you’ll have to come to terms with the fact that you’ve been mispronouncing Nikita Hrushchev’s (Хрушев) name your entire life

Dont believe me? Try it on English Ukrainian translation
