FOX: Hurricane Laura battered the Louisiana and Texas coasts as it made landfall early Thursday as an “extremely dangerous” Category 4 storm before slowly weakening to a tropical storm by midday.

I live in what was supposed to be the zone of destruction. We decided to stay home and in the last few hours, the eye shifted just a little to the east before making landfall. That slight shift made all the difference and we came out relatively unscathed. Good thing as we just recovered from Hurricane Harvey. The Texas Hill Country looks better every day.
Democrats are hoping for another chance to attack president Trump. If it isn’t another Katrina, their fall-back position is to say it is because of global warming, and blame Trump anyway.
