He can do this because he seemingly has no short-term memory that downloads beyond a day, so you can train him, insult him, praise him, punish him, or reward him, and it will make no difference tomorrow.
Because tomorrow is a New Day, and New Day has forgotten literally EVERYTHING that happened the day before. Good, bad, indifferent, all gone. He lives in a New Day every day.
