During a recent morning walk at Corson’s Inlet State Park in Ocean City, [New Jersey] Amy Smyth Murphy made her way from the deep sand toward the ocean, finding a green-color corked bottle with paper inside.
Excited, the Haddon Heights resident returned to the beach house to study the bottle, opening it to find pieces of paper, one of which appeared to be a business card possibly from 1876 and the other being a handwritten note. More
Cool story.
How long before slojoe claims he put the message there?
In Scranton.
“The smell that came out of it was unbelievable,” Smyth Murphy said, describing the odor as “the bay smell times one million. We were not prepared for that.” So it smells like Hillary’s cootchie.
“She intends to get creative with the bottle’s story, weighing the idea of its finding being the theme of a book.”
And later, somebody will make a movie about the bottle hoax.
I kid, I kid… I think.
Gut feeling: hoax
So what was the handwritten note?
I tossed it in the sea.
“Sending out an S.O.S. …”
“Your package is being held at the USPS distribution center. Click on the link to verify your address…”
Damn it, now I’ve got The Police playing in my head!
