  1. My local Trader Joes no longer requires masks, the signs are gone from the front door and for the first time in nearly a year we went in there this morning without wearing a friggin mask and no one bothered us and one guy took his mask off when he saw us without masks. Hallelujah, maybe sanity and freedom may prevail yet. And I heard that Wally World will no longer require masks either allowing people to go in without question on the honor system whether you’re vaccinated or not. I don’t need to go there anytime soon but it’s nice to see this onerus bs coming to an end. And hopefully most of the other stores will follow suit quickly and remove their odious, draconian mask requirements as well.

  2. But I AM a vaccinated person. I got several throughout my childhood. Polio, DPT, tetanus and couple of times.

So to identify as a vaxxhole is not a lie.

Not like a give a shit.

  3. The covid “vaccine” is not a vaccine. So yes I’ve had many vaccines over the years so yes I’ve been vaccinated. The records of those are long gone into the dust of time.

  4. It appears the progressive vaccine promoters have run up against their own rules. Since HIPAA prevents disclosure of health information it was widely viewed as an essential tool to protect HIV status in the 1990s, yet everywhere we are being asked to reveal our “vaccine status”. The positivity rate in my home state is now 1.2% (with a known false positive rate of 0.5%), so the pandemic is over. Continuing to pressure people to reveal whether they have been vaccinated when there are near zero cases is bizarre, unscientific and shows a complete lack of understanding of stats and risk. If I agree to vaccination, there is a 100% chance I will be exposed to the vaccine with all of its potential side effects. If I go about my life there is a tiny, tiny chance (near zero) I will get the virus. Hmmm, let me think about this……

  5. My employer has been requiring that we answer a covid questionnaire each Monday where we state whether we have practiced social distancing, etc., and/or been in contact with anyone infected during the prior week. Just last week they added a question, asking if we have been vaccinated.

I don’t mind answering the first few questions, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to tell them if I taken the jab. It’s “nunyafugginbidness” whether I have or not, as far as I’m concerned.

I’ve been trying to research whether HIPPA prohibits them from asking, but I haven’t found a definitive answer yet. Does anyone know if they can force me to disclose this information?

  6. Went to Costco this morning and walked in without a mask. The employee at the door informed me I had to wear a mask because they are not ready yet to allow customers in without one. He was polite and apologetic and handed me a mask.

Wondering if this was a control freak manager’s decision and will try to delay the change as long as he/she can?

  7. @stirrin – I don’t know anything about this particular website, but it’s a brand-new article and they say the answer is no.

I plan to go to Trader Joe’s soon, but on a weekday because of the crowds. If they insist that I be masked if I am not vaccinated I intend to say ‘Well I guess my not wearing a mask gives you the answer.’

  8. STP, recently my elderly mother signed a HIPPA form giving permission for one doctor’s office to share her medical info with me.

It would be my guess that no one can force you to share your medical information. You have to give permission, or others have to have the signed form, by you, to share your information to a specific person stated on the form.

  9. @mmm – I haven’t been to Costco since the federal mask mandate was miraculously rescinded, but I can tell you that they are the only store that I have been in that not only required masks, but required that they be worn over your nose.

I was told that the local stores follow west coast stores mask policies, so they probably will be the last to begrudgingly relent to no masks.

  10. mmm & LCD – thanks for sharing your experiences. My take is that it will ultimately come down to a court ruling. That being the case, I don’t have confidence that the employee’s rights will prevail.

  11. “People often feel like HIPAA protects them from being asked about their medical information, or prohibits other people from asking about their medical information,” Spector-Bagdady said. “Neither is true. HIPAA prohibits health professionals, such as your doctor, from sharing your identified health information without your permission in most circumstances. People can always ask about your health information, and you can almost always decline to answer. But not answering health questions might come at a cost – such as not being able to enter your workplace or board a plane.”

    Thanks for your link, LCD

  12. Went into Walmart today. Have not been there for maybe 6 months. Went in with my daughter. No masks. We were in there about 90 min. I only saw 2 other people without a mask. At least a couple hundred people throughout the store. Walmart has a new programmed announcement that if you are vaccinated you do not need to wear a mask. The sheep were not listening. The programming is set in. The ‘boxcars’ will fill as easily this time as they did the last.

  13. I have refused to wear the face diaper for 6 months and if that was the way people identified that I didn’t vote for the escape dementia patient that blatantly stole the election, has the highest inflation since Jimmy Carter along with empty pumps and gas lines on top of wanting children to be mutilated and women’s sports to become dominated by mentally ill transgenders than I hope these morons continue clinging to their germ diapers. I want everyone to know I didn’t do any of this and I am damn proud to be on the right side of history.

  14. I went to Costco yesterday, and the sign & ID checker said you don’t have to wear a mask if you’ve had The Jab. So when she asked, I lied and said, “OF COURSE” as I walked in with my bare face.

  15. I went out today, Kroger still had the face diaper signage up so I wore one, wallyworld didn’t so I left it in my hoopty. Still full of masked morons. I decided that just like my house, your place your rules, if I need what you provide, I will comply with your policy, and not be abusive to the employees. Not everyone was masked, but no-one was stinkeyeing me about it either.
