About leaving California.
As someone who is stuck in California for now, I fully agree.
It’s a lawless, expensive, family not friendly, hostile to business communist cesspool.
And I am trying to say something nice about it, but this is all can immediately think of.
But I have to tell you, I don’t plan on retiring here. For now, we are looking into Florida, Texas, or Wyoming to move to in few years.

@Brad: I wouldn’t want to live in Nevada, Arizona, or Texas, they have no water and the Feds have now stepped in and will manage it for them, (not Texas). Big cuts to all those States including Mexico who all get their water from the Colorado River – it’s drying up too. No cuts to California…..we feed the world. BTW, Las Vegas is still building homes as if there’s an endless source of water. Where are they going to put 40 million people with no pot to piss in? I’ve been following this guy from Las Vegas, he gives factual updates. I think he knows he’s screwed. My house is paid off, I’ll ride the wave until there’s no more.

I want to take a better look at Wyoming. There’s a few spot in AZ that I think would be safe from the water issue. Payson AZ might be a contender. There’s no way I could live down on the flat though. Just to damn hot. I’m not digging our current temps here. Way to hot, as you know. They’re forecasting 104 here today so that’s got to put you around 110. I’m looking forward to winter.
