Trying times, indeed.
Men of substance live by a code, a code that commands respect and adherence to the more noble qualities; fairness, honor, duty, and a genuine fealty to living by the rules of the times.
Those rules have been turned on their head. Those who cherish decorum in all things have been kicked right in the nuts. We have seen the fruits of our honest labors stolen. We have witnessed fraud, peculation and blatant larceny, taken what was rightfully ours.
Our democracy has been gutted and any that value fair play just got their lunch money taken from them. My country has become unrecognizable.
“When The Saxon Began To Hate” may be more relevant Kipling.

My High School mascot were the Saxons, the Ferris Saxons and Shadle Park HS on the N. side of Spokane mascot are the Highlanders. I’m surprised they haven’t been replaced yet by some gutless, weenie SJW types.
