YT-
Approximately 1000 students from all around the state of Kentucky gather together each evening during the KMEA conference to sing our great nation’s Anthem. It is truly an amazing experience.
…students stay at the 18-story Louisville Downtown Hyatt Hotel during the Kentucky state-wide chorus competition, which is part of the Kentucky Music Educators Convention.
Every night before curfew, they all gather on their balconies in the atrium and sing the National Anthem. This happens every year during this competition.

100% Badass
I love the reverence given to our National Anthem (and the applause). Tears.
How cool! So nice to hear.
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Between this and the Rainbow Bridge dog post my tear ducts have been flushed today.
Nobody kneeling!
Nobody kneeling.
Beautiful
Beautiful. Sad that the MSM will not dhow this but will feature 6 jerks locking arms.
Wow .
Still brings tears to my eyes.
I think, for the first time in nearly 50 years of life, I may take a vacation to see this. Finally, something worth seeing.
BTW, the YT comments are worth reading while listening over and over to this beautifully haunting rendition.
I lost it at the 2:10 mark with the high octave and even 3rds for high notes!
Love it.
I’ve seen this before. Always beautiful to listen to.
Tears. And I agree with PHenry, between this and the Rainbow Bridge post, I don’t think I have any tears left tonight.
Beautiful.
Sung the way it was meant to be sung– with respect and reverence. Like a hymn!
I have lived 73 years as a military brat, wife, mother, and grandmother. I treasure the memories of the National Anthem being played before movies and so many other times, while a dependent all over the U.S and several other countries. It never fails to bring tears and gratitude to my heart to have the honor of being an American.
Wow, beautiful!
Kentucky is such a patriotic state, but why do they keep reelecting The Turtle! Wake up, Kentucky!
Magnificent! Overwelming joy and reverence for our great nation. Truly God inspired.
To quote Chief Dan George, “My heart soars like a Hawk!”
That was so beautiful. No one took a knee, they reached to the heavens instead.
Nice hotel? I would sleep in my car for the chance to do this. What a beautiful rendition performed by such lovely people.
I still can’t understand these kneelers when they put their hand over their heart and look to the sky. Hey stooooopid kneelers: you are shamed. Look at the ground when this Blessed song is playing. Take your hand off your heart you have no heart. You are not good enough to KNEEL in front of this song, just lie on the ground.
O’r the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Every American’s dear hearted allegiance to our God Blessed Land. Very beautiful, thanks for the reassuring share!
GOOSEBUMPS!!!
Handle that!!! You nfl pieces of crap!!!
Awesome, thank you!
Right before curfew. Makes me think of it as a national lullaby. Beautiful. Reassuring.
2:34 of my life well spent
It is amazing to hear the Anthem sung correctly as it was meant to be. Too bad some of the professional singers can not do half as well! Singing the Anthem is not about the singer but meant to express praise and thanksgiving for the opportunities and accomplishments of this great country as well as to revere the memories of those that make it possible. And not one of them grabbed their groin either. Bookmarked it so I can start each day going forward. Thanks.
