I’m so ill over this, but my Obamacare deductible is too high

The feelings I have right now should best be kept to myself because I might write something that gets me in trouble.

Unfortunately our best hope, now, is to have Obamacare collapse (which is inevitable) quickly. Consequently, this is going to cause large-scale misery for many people. Many good people.

My sincere hope is that they do not suffer like I am hoping John McCain suffers…. (See, I gotta watch myself.)

I’m an American taxpayer who pays $7500 a year for healthcare, and in return I get one check-up and one prostate exam a year. THAT IS IT. After that I am subjected to a $6000 a year deductible. I am paying over $13,000 a year for whatever ails me. Going to the doctor for aches and pains is out of the question, I must reserve my resources for broken bones, disease and agony.

As far as I’m concerned I now have catastrophic insurance, something the excrement known as Obama said was inadequate. I agree with him, my reasonable monthly payment wasn’t adequately paying for illegals and deadbeats. I should have been ashamed of myself for not handing over my hard-earned cash to people who think I am what’s wrong with America.

Where do I take a knee? Or, more adequately, to whose balls do I plant my knee?

  1. A Liberal was schooling me yesterday after I dared to criticize Jimmy Kimmel. I copied and pasted his Tweets to me:

“The US doesn’t negotiate prices with Big Pharma. That’s obviously the wrong way to deal with medicine but you want even less involvement?”

“I understand you don’t want government in healthcare but my point is that, like Kimmel, you aren’t a healthcare expert but have an opinion.”

“Also, if your healthcare was destroyed because of the ACA or whatever reason, that’s unfortunate & I wish you good health.”

Me->”When gov dictates how much ins I need and how much I have to pay, I say they’re too involved. And I’m free to criticize a celeb advocating it.”

He->”Then I don’t see the issue here because the US government isn’t dictating your insurance, the private sector is AND THAT’s the issue.”

“Did you know the US gov can’t negotiate the prices of medicine in the US? Did you know private insurers pay commission on denied claims?”

“Those things are allowed because the US government isn’t stepping in to stop it. Now we have a celebrity in Trump trying to take more away.”

“Criticize celebs, yes you have that right, so criticize Trump. He’s a celeb. Also, he’s gov & trying to get his hands on your insurance.”

  2. I called my Dad last night on his way home from a long road trip and about this very subject he said, “Like Donald Trump said, ‘Let that fucker implode.'”

I don’t think my Dad was quoting Trump verbatim.

  3. That’s funny, I just got off the phone telling my hubby that I’m not reading one more “Give a knee” story.Mentioned how we were given instruction on how to “Give a knee” when we were little girls. Then I’m reading this bout the freaking oBama care. How much are we supposed to take?

  4. I know Trump is still trying to work with congress to get some things done but I think it is clear that they run out enough votes to make him think he is close to getting things passed but in reality they are fighting him on everything. It is time to fight fire with fire and eliminate Congress’s exemption from Obamacare.

  5. Members of the government – Congress, the executive and the judiciary – need to be subject to every rule and regulation they pass. In fact, even if exemptions from regulation are available to private citizens, government officials should still be forced to live under the regulations and programs they pass and enforce.

Phil Graham spent his entire career in government. After he left the Senate, he remarked that if he had known how much regulation burdened private industry, he would not have voted for so much regulation. Forcing Congress to live under their own regulations is the only way to wake these dunderheads up.

  6. It’s starting to feel like it’s better to be poor and on welfare to get free health care rather than grind through a 40 hour week to have it all gobbled up by bills and cost of living.

  7. Swamp Creatures love exempting themselves then forcing citizens to pay exorbitant taxes and fees. One good way to fight would be to end Confressional exemption on everything, make them pay full price for meals, no perks.

  8. The health insurance customer asked the health insurance provider…”Why have you raised my rates 125% and my deductible 50%?”….The health insurance provider responded….” Because we can and we will again”…

  9. Let 0bamacare implode….

DEMocRATS make it the law of the land…..

    REpubliCANTS tried to fix it…..

DEMocRATS would not help fixing it…..

DEMocRATS own 0bamacare…..lock, stock, and barrel.

  10. And that PHenry, is why the insurance industry is duplisit in outrageous fees and deductibles. They love this shit as they fight over which three providers will eventually be the ‘One Payor” provider…

  11. The whole thing is ridiculous. Don’t have insurance but once you get sick you get it for the same price as those who have paid for insurance their entire life? Mandate abortion care and everything else (that won’t drive up costs at all). Let the drug companies charge what they like (my new cholesterol medication costs $14,400.00 a year, my copay is only $5,160.00 a year). I would say the government has really screwed up healthcare. Now the democrats want single payer or complete government control (that will really be great).

  12. You’re fooling yourselves when you say “let it implode”. THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT. Health insurance will be so F’d up the public will be begging for someone, ANYONE to take charge and fix it. Of course, the dems will have a plan ready and their shitpile will pass easily even without a majority because the traitor repukes will go right along with them, wringing their hands about not having any choice. Dems won’t be held responsible for destroying health insurance in the first place because they “fixed” it. The collapse of private health care will be what shoes in single payer. We get screwed even worse.

  13. If we can’t get rid of Obamacare than let’s go to Government Healthcare.
I want what we used to have. But. That ain’t going to happen and I can’t afford Obamacare.
So I have no health care and I don’t go to the doctor ever.
