Everybody to get from street! (Sorry, couldn’t resist – that was from “The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming”)

I saw The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming in 1966 when I was 13. It’s a great funny movie and one of my favorite comedies from that era. I love the madcap antics of Jonathan Winters and even Brian Keith as the Police chief was as good as well, but Alan Arkin is a great underrated actor and comedian in his own right. I especially liked him in the Rocketeer. Not so much in Little Miss Sunshine which was way too vulgar for me.

One of my favorites, too Geoff. Great cast & funny and surprisingly touching movie .

As simple as life was, back then, it was undoubtedly much more difficult than today, (not counting the liberal, commie democratic ‘reset’ to take over America and ALL it stands for).
DAMN, I hope the second revolution starts before I’m called up yonder.

Geoff, I saw it too when I was a but a lad, and still remember it vividly. Another that sticks with me was It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World.

Alan Arkin in “the in-laws” is very funny opposite Peter Falk

Lol. Good one.

The 60’s comedy I remember most is The Magnificient Men In Their Flying Machines.
BTW, Happy Birthday America and may you have thousands more.

Everyone was British in 1775. It got better in 1776.

“The Redcoats are coming” would be more accurate as everyone was still British at the time.
