Where was Fauci? He was never aware of this study? Why didn’t he look it up?

Fact is, he does know about it, and doesn’t care. He’s allowing people to die and live in fear for political reasons.

The proof of this is when he wouldn’t shut down leftwing protests. He is with them.

Study

Background

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by a newly discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV). No effective prophylactic or post-exposure therapy is currently available.

Results

We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations.

Conclusion

Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.

    Drub companies make STUPID money, gobs and heaps and piles of money, a stack of cash that Sir Edmond Hillary couldn’t climb and then two more in gold and silver, and that’s just the BEGINNING of it. There isn’t a calculator with enough digits in it to express to the nearest MILLION how much International Drug makes without flashing EEEEEEEEEEEE at you. They could pay that quadrillion that Black Lives Matter wants for being Black and have enough to do the next 7 noisiest ethnic groups as well, and STILL have plenty to buy that mansion on Alpha Centari AND multiple flights there and back…

    …ok, maybe not THAT much, but they DO so very, very well that you sometimes have to wonder if the whole thing isn’t just a money laundering operation that succeeds by playing on everyone’s mortal fears.

    For example, there was a soccer field and a wood and a parking lot in a very large vacant area next to my food plant when I got here. One day though they broke ground for a HUGE new building (after evicting the soccer moms, which was kind of a releif becuase they couldn’t get mad anymore when we wouldn’t let their kids use the toilets in the plant because, it’s a FOOD plant and kids are not allowed BY LAW), and built it HIGH, built it WIDE, built it DEEP, with a BEAUTIFUL atrium and MAJOR modifications to the local sewers, electric wires, water supplies, and acres and acres of parking lot…

    …and then they got bought out by a DIFFERENT drug company that ALREADY had a plant in the area and didn’t want THIS one, so they abandoned it before they even USED it, bascialy gifting it to the City for nothing. Cells have NOTHING on the way that drug companies constantly divide, pixilate, recombine, and grow from microscopic to elefantine, if the elephant concerned could buy ANTHER elephant and take the trunk and ears, then throw the rest to the hyenas for a laugh.

    I had a Fanuc guy over for a new cell install, and had a nice talk with him about the robots they had for that plant in just sort of a “by the way” conversation. They had planned it to be state-of-the-art and were very close to opeining it when the sale happened, and robots are rather custom items so they have to be ordered WAY in advance, which this company did. They ordered DOZENS of robots, all sizes and descriptionis, and about the CHEAPEST you’re gonna get a Cartesian robot with a big name like THAT is in the $100,000 range for the LITTLE guys, and they had some BIG ‘uns purchased, too. (you can get Delta robots considerably cheaper, but don’t try picking up anything larger than a bag of rice with them, they aren’t that robust).

    He said that when the sale happened and the new company decided they didn’t want the robots since they didn’t want the plant, Fanuc was concerend that there would be an issue becasue the robots had been made and prepped for them, so they figured the new owner would back out.

    They did nothing of a kind. They said they would pay full cost for all.

    They were then asked where they wanted them shipped, then.

    Nowhere, was the answer.

    They told them they could keep them, sell them to someone else, donate them to schools, whatever they wanted to do. They were done with it and weren’t even interested in getting a tax discount for donating them, just here’s the full check, byyyyeeee…

    …and so it goes. We have several drug plants in the area, some of which I drive by, and I could retire if I just had the SIGN concession on ONE of them because they have HUGE signs facing all ways on a HUGE plant, part of which they lease to a University, and they’ve changed names so often that the sign bases would fall apart from all the bolt holes for the different letters if they didn’t buy new, expensive, fancy bases every time as well. But as far as I can tell from without and people who have worked within, most times the sign is the ONLY thing that changes.

    Well, that, and the graphics on the drugs, and the PRICES certainly rise EVERY. SINGLE. TIME…

THEY seem to have some new signs on them every time they talk down HCQ, too, and – based on what I’ve seen of local, suddenly dictatorial, “Health Advisors” writing Exectutive Orders for EVERY GOVERNOR IN AMERICA, they’re not the ONLY ones practicallly wearing a drug company logo…

  15. Fauci would smugly reply that it was only a laboratory study and that we must complete randomized, double-blind trials before we can know if HCQ is efficacious and safe for treatment of covid-19 (CCP or Xi virus).

    The gaming of pharmaceutical trials is an art that has been perfected over decades. While manipulation cannot guarantee desired outcomes, it does put into question the validity of the outcome.

    Additionally, researchers can develop a god complex (and many start with with one), knowing that they must condemn a certain percentage of trial participants to suffering and death (because they were given the placebo or because they were given the drug). Fauci fits that description to a T.

    As to HCQ, all the meaningful trials that were in progress or planned, were stopped and defunded as a result of the fraudulent article published and then retracted in major medical and science publications. Unfortunately, the belated retraction did not reverse the draconian bans on HCQ, which betrays the political nature of those bans.
