I remember the survey but was still fearful and untrusting (and intimidated by Sourball — I remember laughing out loud every time I saw their avatar). I think the first comment I made was telling Fur to please give a little warning on the humor as I snorted coffee through my nose all over my keyboard.
I always pictured Admin Girl as the real brains behind the outfit. In my mind she had the competence of Della Street, the subtlety of Lena from Ray Donovan and I often pictured her thwacking the boys of IOTW on their heads and shaking her head in an expression of ‘lost cause’ at their puerile humor. I’m betting she was the one who always said “who’s gonna pay for it?” when Fur and Pinko started scheming.

I remember emailing Admin Girl when I was trying to decide what name I was going to use as a contributor. I commented and sent in tips as Claudia, but thought maybe I’d make a funny name or something. I decided on one name, emailed her, then an hour later change my mind.

Pinko read us the riot act on that one ha ha!!
Thanks for posting this Fur…a good walk down memory lane. Been fortunate to get to know some of the folks listed above – which never would have happened if I hadn’t stumbled on to IOTW one day.
Fur, I do remember that first “Tell Us Who You Are” thread and I have in archived on a flash drive….somewhere, I just haven’t found it yet.

Last I heard, Ralph and Stymie joined a Wicca cult in the New Jersey Pinelands and now run a fruit and veggie stand on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township.

The lips were multicolored vertical stripes.
