  1. His views were hardened by spending 22 years in Israeli jails for trivial matters such as murder. He was born in a refugee camp that resulted from a war that Arabs started. When he was five, Israel took over Gaza because of a war that Arabs started.

I May be wrong, but it seems that there is a pattern here.

  2. I would put up for consideration that Israel is doing more to address the root causes of problems in the region by telling all of the usual suspects to go fuck themselves, mind their own business and stay the hell out of the way than everything the “experts” have been prescribing for the last 3/4 century.

  3. ” The death tolls released by the Gaza Health Ministry did not distinguish between fighters and others, but many Western governments and humanitarian groups said the majority of the casualties have been civilians.”

Yes. Because Hamas uses civilians as human sheilds and they store their munitions in civilian buildings (hospitals, schools).

Israel may have pulled the trigger or bombed the buildings but Hamas killed them.

  4. The [Israeli military] statement gave no further details.

I’m not very interested in the details unless ol’ Yahya suffered a lot. Then I want ALL the details, especially how long he was in pain.
