Breitbart: ROME — The Italian government issued a decree Saturday allowing travel to and from other countries beginning on June 3.
With consistently good numbers regarding the slowing of the coronavirus, the government has moved up the date for international travel from the previous marker of June 15. The opening to international travel will now coincide with Italy’s opening for travel between its regions.
The date of June 3 was chosen to keep the current travel ban in place until after the long holiday weekend ending on June 2, Italy’s Republic Day.
Also on June 3, any sector of the economy still shuttered at the time will be allowed to re-open provided people follow safety protocols.
Meanwhile, hairdressers, restaurants, and worship services will start up again on Monday, May 18, under strict social distancing and hygiene rules. As of Monday, those moving about their own regions will no longer be obliged to carry the hated “autocertificazione” papers. more
Italy is the rudest country I’ve ever encountered. When walking on the sidewalk groups of men dominate and make you get out of the way. There is no etiquette when standing in line for something. There are pickpockets everywhere. (One attempted to grab my wallet.) Even the fake Roman gladiators at the Coliseum run a scam. France and Spain are not much better. If you visit Europe go to Slovenia and the coast of Croatia (Dalmatia). It’s beautiful, cheap, and the people are friendly. (Also Prague is a must.)

My Italian cousin is well over 60 years old and took money from a trust fund for his aunt who was born retarded. He was a traffic enforcement agent who retired early.

Lived in northern Italy for two years. Beautiful country, fantastic history, great food – but unfortunately populated by Italians. Even my landlord came up with a scheme every month to charge me for something “extra”. Until I lived there I never really understood the Mafia….It’s in their blood. (Cuomo, DeNiro, etc.)
