Just got a great story from a mutual friend about Moe Tom.
When he was the ranger at the golf course, he would ride through the parking lot and any car that had a Hillary sticker he would put note on the windshield – ” JUST TO LET YOU KNOW SOME ASSHOLE PUT A HILLARY CLINTON BUMPER STICKER ON YOUR CAR”
Thanks Harold!
Yes, it was always worth reading his comments.
He’s now posting on IOH (I own heaven).
I’m torn. 2020 seems like the longest year ever, but it also seems like just yesterday that Moe Tom was here.
I really miss him and his great comments.
I’m glad he got to experience almost three years of President Trump.
I’m also glad he didn’t have to endure 2020. What a shitshow. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
“Oh, for fuck’s sake!”
A year? Really?
izlamo delenda est …
I’ll raise a glass in your honor and in indelible friendship tonight, Moe Tom.
Miss you Sir Moe Tom. I pray you are enjoying eternal peace with Our Lord.
…one of the good ones. Maybe fire off an extra 21 rounds for him at the range tonight, I suspect he’d appreciate that…
you’re greatly missed Moe Tom
I have known many, liked not a few, loved only one, I drink to you.
Godspeed, Moe Tom!
I’m smiling….I remember Him always saying “I can’t take anymore of this sh*t!”
Having a Beer in His Honor now.
Missing Moe Tom too. Rest in Heavenly peace with the angels.
A favorite Moe Tomism spoken quickly with an Irish accent:
“Whale oil beef hooked!
Thank you for the reminder. Heres to you MOE TOM.
Oh, Moe Tom. I can’t take it anymore! I sure miss you.
Drinking a frosty diet Coke in your honor, Tom!
Your in a better place now, Moe Tom; pity about the whole voting Democrat thing now, though.
This is a good night for a Guinness and a shot of Irish Whiskey! Here’s to you, Moe!
Only knew him briefly here (maybe a couple of years) and a e-mails back and forth some. Much of his attitude and thoughts matched mine.
Had no filter to speak of and that is what endeared him to most who knew him. Mike and Mr. Pinko let the ten second delay go unused which I found amusing as they did his comments. Perhaps I’m speaking out of turn and they’ll comment later.
Had me by a few years and gone too soon…
I always loved when he talked about Trump showing up on a job site. And of course hearing him on the US and a show. Miss him very much!
Can it really be that long? But it was just yesterday, when…
So long, Moe. I’ll meet ya on the other side.
One of the IOTW originals. 👍
21 rounds going down range for Moe Tom in about 4 hours….
I got here kinda late to get to know Moe Tom, unfortunately, but from that photo I KNEW his ‘type’ when we used to hang with the American Legion and the grey haired guys as well at our local bar.
Some call them the Salt of the Earth.
Like this local bar…
He went from being an All Soul to an All Saint THIS year so pray for his transition.
Think of him this day:

Miss Moe’s call into the U.S & Eh?! Show
Miss him.
Recognized the Irish in him: sometimes by accent, always by attitude.
Sorry for your –our– loss.
Very funny story about the bumper stickers.
Good Guy, I liked his comments.
(I saved a few to my desktop)
A year?
I miss him and a bunch of other good people from IOTW.
Wonderful sense of humor. I miss him.
HE LOVED THE LONESOME DOVE AS I DO, GREAT WESTERN SERIES..I KNOW RICKY SCHROEDER, AND HE APPRECIATED COMMENTS REPORTED BACK ABOUT RICKY BEING PRO TRUMP, PRO MILITARY, PRO 2A, ETC…
ONE OF HIS FAVORITE SCENES:

ENJOY YOUR REST, FRIEND..WELL DESERVED BY A TRUE PATRIOT!!
Where was Moe Tom born?? NYC or other? Was he NYPD?
@Little Morphin’ Annie – I noticed the BIG Irish smile too!
great personality that shined through his posts … he’s definitely missed
Godspeed, MT
Fuck a duck.
It’s been a whole year.
Damn. I Liked that guy.
Made me smile to see that smiling photo. Hard to believe it’s been a year. The golf course story made me laugh. Sure do miss Moe Tom.
I don’t know why, but I always had it in my head he was black. Rest In Peace, Moe Tom.
Loved the Moe Tom story. I’ve thought about doing something similar many times.
But only actually did it a handful of times. Usually the message left was similar to – Thought you’d want to know. Someone is trying to make you look like an idiot by putting a Hillary / Bernie / Obama sticker on you rear bumper.
Well, shoot. A year already. *sigh*
We just learned tonight that a very dear and long-time friend of ours was JUST given the news of stage 3 lung cancer a few short weeks ago and was scheduled to begin chemo and radiation. She subsequently developed pneumonia, they treated her for that and she went into a complete tailspin and learned just this last Saturday that she is too weak to survive chemo/radiation. She’s been sent home to pass on with only about three days left.
I’m still in shock. Please pray for our friend Barbara and her husband Roy. Thank you.
I’ve been thinking about this a bit, and have decided the thing I miss most about Tommy was his wisdom. It wasn’t always immediately apparent. But sooner or later, the rest of our lights went on. The guy will always be irreplaceable.
All my personae miss Moe Tom.
I can’t believe it’s been a year. I still miss him and think about what he might have had to about everything going on now.
Oh dang, while I was down in the abyss grieving, I missed the death of Moe Tom. I’m so sorry, I enjoyed his comments. He’s home with Abba.
I try and keep the (bumper sticker) escapade up when I can in his memory.
We missed you, too, Rotty.
S’funny…I was just thinking about Moe Tom the other day, missing him and wondering how long he’d been gone. ALWAYS enjoyed his comments.
I was thinking about GFY the other day and wondering how long it had been since we lost her.
