Wouldn’t do that by accident or on purpose.
Too many tree sapling stubs to poke you in the mud area and too many hurty things in the water you can’t even see.

People have drowned just like that. San Louis Pass on the south end of Galveston Island claims 1 or 2 a year.Mostly drunk Mexicans.Very deep drop off and strong current…….
