I used to do Swimming merit badge for scouts. I was amazed at how many kids, living in a coastal city (Santa Monica), had very little swimming instruction. These were 11-13 year old kids. And one of the biggest problems was a fear of diving face first into water. Great to teach them that while they are really young!
And her leg strength is amazing!

I learned to swim the old fashioned way; dad threw me in the lake.

That is so cute! 😁 When I was a little older than that little girl(about 5 yrs old)dad used to pitch me into our pool from the diving board. That was so much fun! He was a big, strong athletic man and would pitch me over and over until I was tired. ♥️🥲
