Why am I mentioning this woman by name? Because it appears to me that this bureacrat is lying.
This story broke because a military veteran happened to be in the store when Power was issuing a citation to a store for flying military flags and he spoke up. In the ensuing argument the veteran had to defend himself, and told her what he did for our nation. He took three bullets to the leg. Power gets in his face with a finger, says something, and then saunters out of the store in anger. It’s on video.
When the SHTF and public sentiment was staunchly against this woman she issued a statement claiming it was all a misunderstanding.
Witnesses say when she got in close with her finger she said, “you did nothing for this country.”
That statement, and the vitriol, matches the body language.
Miss Power(trip) claims the veteran asked, defensively, “what did I do?,” and she answered, benignly, “nothing.”
What a crock of revisionist sh*t.
In her explanation post she goes on to say her dad was a POW, her husband is a vet, her brother is a vet, her dog is a vet, her refrigerator is a vet.
That doesn’t mean she can’t be an anti-military loon.
The good news here is that we are turning the tide on this crap. The city told the store to rip up the citation and fly their flags.
The left is despicable, and we will not stand for anti-American bullsh*t. A store can fly rainbow flags, Mexican flags, Communist flags, probably even ISIS flags, but just you try and fly anything that supports this country, our military or are brilliant forefathers, and the totalitarian hammer comes down.

Reminds me of the time I walked back into our shop and found a Cal Osha inspector had wondered in through the back door. Which instantly pissed me off. A Russian woman, right off the boat. She tried to fine us for a dust collection unit that Osha insist we add the month before. I through her out and contacted the guys we had been working with. She came back in about a week later and fined us $500.00 for not having a proper guard on a grinder.
Aaand she still has her job. The difference between the private market and the public sector. That needs to change.

Someone wants to fine me for an obscure violation, I’d ask, “show me the ordinance or regulation. otherwise, I’ll see you in court in front of a judge. and if there is no ordinance or regulation, be prepared to answer a suit for harassment and lost wages”.

The Party bills you (and your neighbours) for the time their people spend speechifyin’. And expenses. And other Party units’ “billables”. And anything those other Party units decide you’re “owed”. If you “win”.
You get to pay for it, yourself (at least “sparing” the neighbours), if The Party apparatchiks decides the Party appartchicks’ attacks on you are in The Party’s best interests.
And, then, all The Party members, and their families, and their civil partners, bill you (and your neighbours) for all the pensions and et ceteras, for ever and ever. No matter how it turns out. See, that proves there’s no vested interests. No corruption.
