Like I said last night. Trump needed to do this, as job one, and get a wartime Attorney General installed.

  3. I was not buying all that “Q” bullshit about trusting Sessions and trusting the plan. I was done with him when he recused himself from the Russia investigation. Good move to ask for his resignation, PDJT– force the trash to take itself out.

  10. Brown Eyed Girl, That’s what I was thinking, too. Slow walking, Trump knows everything, trusting the plan, etc. I was hoping they were right, but I rebel at placing my trust in any man. Just didn’t feel right.

  15. He sailed through confirmation under a Senate with little wiggle room because he had been in Congress and was well liked. Now Trump has a wider margin and can put a vicious f’ing prick in there. I think Sessions served his purpose and I think the more serious prosecutions will be in military tribunals so who is AG and who is on the courts won’t really matter.

  19. I’d bet money Trump had this all lined up before the election. And if the Dems took the House, he would pull the trigger. Something’s in the works. I can just feel it. Rosenstein isn’t acting AG in Session’s place. That’s a big honkin’ clue.

  22. Trump should STOP listening to the blah, blah, blah of the American media — I’m looking at you Andrew Napolitano — and reject the premise of “intending to influence the (Mueller) investigation.”

    Fact is, the D’s will open another investigation into the resignation of Sessions. They just will.

    Go AFTER all the D’s for leaking to the press! Keep them all busy meeting with their atty’s and worrying about indictments!!!

    What I love is that Trump was asked this question at the presser this morning and he declined to answer saying he would know more in a week or so. Then turned right around and announced.

  41. What i love about this man is he thrives in this environment. He takes adversity and bakes it into a 7 course meal, chews it up, digests all the nutrients and shits out the waste.
    He had this planned for months. By the time we see it, its all done but the signature.

  42. MAJack – “Good man, loyal man,” but good and loyal to whom? He didn’t seem to care about the people being railroaded in an attempt to get to Trump. So many Democrats guilty of so much, yet Sessions didn’t care.

  43. I think the President wanted to reward Sessions for his early and strong support, but taking him out of the Senate was a double-edged mistake. The Peter Principle is a real thing.
