  1. …not sure what you could do with these, theyre pretty durn recognizable, and a lot of their value goes away if you take them apart…perhaps Anymouse has some idea what a thief could do, otherwise holding things for ransom seems popular now…

…and there were no alarms on the windows? The display cases? no motion sensors? No cameras, no guards? Nothing?

Geeze, abandoned shopping malls have better security…

  3. Amusing that anyone would think that anyone has the answers in the metals’ markets at this point. Although melting things could bring good numbers. And stones can be recut. The Burning Platform has had a number of articles over the last couple weeks.

Also amusing that being down at the refiners last Monday I locked the proceeds at $4,122.00 an ounce for payout thinking it a good thing to do… Still NO processing done as for some strange reason they’re busy right now.

Sometimes you’re the bug. Sometimes you’re the windshield.

Interesting. I would have thought you precious metal types would use the LME for futures. Occasionally we price five and ten year contract and we find the LME is pretty damn accurate when it comes to what future material pricing looks like.

I think you should try this
You have video cameras and recording devices
Have your teams go back and look at all the footage of the room the theft occured for the last 6 weeks.
Log each and every face into your AI.
    Every repeat visitor get flagged.
Every visitor that looked out that window get flagged.
Every visitor that wore a mask gets flagged.
Every visitor that filmed inside the theft room gets flagged.
After all that logging, now. . .
Cross-match every phone sim card to every masked or unmasked filmer with a smart phone camera device.

Lets just start there and see what pans out.

    oh, can I smoke?
