  1. This CIA memo from September 24, 1963, shows Lee Harvey Oswald was actively being monitored by the CIA at least 59 Days before JFK was Assassinated.

A wise man once said: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Today they just say: “He was on our radar”

  3. I don’t remember who posted it, but someone on X posted an audio of two men, presumably from LBJ’s buddies, talking about being upset that Johnson told them he ordered the assassination of JFK.

Haven’t seen anything about that since, so don’t know if it was fake or not.

  4. I have read quite a few JFK conspiracy theory books, but I would recommend Gerald Posner’s “Case Closed” for a thorough treatment of Oswald’s life as well as a section on Jack Ruby. Posner concludes that Oswald acted alone. When I read the sections on how Oswald got his job at the Texas Book Depository and his relationship with the Soviet Union and Cuba (among other things), it seems clear that Oswald acted alone.

I actually love conspiracy theories. However, the problem with conspiracy theories, and in particular with the JFK conspiracy theories, is that an awful lot of people have to keep the secret. Depending on the particular theory, that number of co-conspirators could range from a few dozen to hundreds, and it seems very unlikely that that many people can keep such a large secret.

  5. Wyatt, I second your suggestion. Also check out Reclaiming History, by Vincent Bugliosi (the guy who prosecuted Manson).

I also used to think there was more to the story. Actually, there’s less.
