Jill Biden Watches Her Phillies Get “No-Hit” in World Series!

There hasn’t been a no hitter in a World Series since 1956, when Don Larsen took 97 pitches to move down all 27 batters, throwing a perfect game.

This one was perfect as well (not really.) It was perfect to see that “Dr.” sitting there witnessing the worst of the worst for your team.

President Joe Biden took his own playful swing at Philly’s infamously ornery sports fans — including one real close to home.

“Phillies fans are the most virulent, obnoxious fans in the world,” he said Tuesday while campaigning in Florida.

Biden, who grew up in Pennsylvania, made his remarks hours before the Philadelphia Phillies hosted the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the World Series.

First lady Jill Biden wasn’t on the campaign trail with her husband in Florida. She’s set to attend Game 4 of the World Series at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday night.

The president often kids about his wife being “a Philly girl” and her rooting interests in the local teams.

  1. The Phillies had one bad inning, gave up all 5 runs in one inning. OK, the other nine weren’t so hot since they didn’t get even one hit. This certainly makes for an interesting series! Damn, I want to see the stinking Phillies win, only because I dislike the Astros more. If we get a seven game series I’m happy.

  3. The Astros let the worthless Phillies win last night so they could bring the series back home to their fans, then they stomped the guts out of them tonight as punishment with a no-hitter. Good going, Astros!

  4. Regardless of who wins ( and I am a lifelong Phillies fan since about 1961) we all lose when we hear that asshole John Smoltz provide commentary. What a know-it-all word salad spewing clown. Thanks Fox for giving him a life after being kicked off MLB channel.

  5. As a Dodger fan I despise the Asterisks. However, every time a Philadelphia team wins the WS (including the A’s way back when) there is an economic crash. Definitely want to avoid that! (does a voodoo chant while spinning around 🙂 )

  6. The Cleveland Indians should have been renamed the Cleveland Spiders which was their original name back in the early days of MLB. We all may hate spiders but it’s still not as terrible a name as the Guardians. And what politically correct reservation did they give Chief Wahoo as sendoff to?

  7. Not a perfect game but watching a no hitter would have been good.

I lost interest in pro baseball when the Braves moved to Cobb county. It changed from spending $100 to go to a game to $400 because of the addition of a hotel in the high rent district. Add to that the horrible traffic in that area it is not worth the trouble.

  8. Cleveburg here – the name Cleveland Guardians represents the sandstone sculptures of guardians that stand watch on four pylons over the east and west ends of the 1932 Hope Memorial Bridge. it also looks similar to the old Indians name with the Same script. uUnfortunately the owners didn’t have the spine to stand up to the Left and tell them to go pound salt, we’re keeping the Indians name, there’s nothing wrong with it! I dont know anyone who likes the change!
