Conservative Review: Democrats won the midterm elections in the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi is the front-runner to be speaker of the House again, and conservative Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is wasting no time.
Jordan announced Wednesday morning that he will challenge Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., for the Republican minority leader position.
“I plan to run for minority leader,” Jordan told Hill.TV.
“In 2016, the American people elected Republicans to come here and change this town. I think the president is doing just that, but I don’t think they see the same intensity from folks in Congress, folks in the House of Representatives,” he said.
“Have we replaced Obamacare yet? Have we secured the border yet? Have we reformed welfare yet? No, we haven’t,” he continued.
Jordan criticized House Republican leadership — McCarthy — for refusing to challenge the Democrats and “have the fight.”
“I think all too often, we were willing to not even engage in the debate,” Jordan said. He used the omnibus spending bill of spring 2018 that funded Democratic priorities as an example. MORE

It would be a strategic mistake not to have Jim Jordan in that position.

Brad, you probably saw on the last day of the rally’s one of the last stops was in Ohio. Jordan was up on the stage with Trump and you could tell there was some genuine comradery between them. Jordan is on the team, and I’m happy with that.

So I’ve never floated this theory before. But here’s the deal. My opinion is DJT is an athlete, has a sport, he excels at. Not sure what it is. I can tell you it’s not golf, because after all, that’s not a sport. He has the confidence of a world class athlete. Today I thought he was ready to jump down and beat Jim Acoustic about the head and neck. Is this guy heavily invested into the Martial Arts? I’m probably full of shit. Again.
Hahaha, I’ll tell you right now where you’re wrong, and you no doubt already know it. Golf is a sport, and it takes athletic ability to excell at it. But that was pretty funny. Where you are probably right is that Donald Trump is a natural athlete. He is probably good at anything he decides to do.
I’m still not seeing much silver lining, because this country is full of immoral stupid people who vote and I don’t there is a state in this union that has an election system without some or a lot of fraud.
I am going to enjoy though Trump without the gloves on and I think most of the Republicans left are either fully in Trump’s corner or now at least see they better act like they’re in Trump’s corner if they want to keep their cushy positions.
I do still also think we’re going to get a wall and deportations are going to start skyrocketing. I also think a lot of the scum is going to be drained out of the DOJ and FBI.
