Malibu uses L.A. County Sheriffs for law enforcement. But Malibu is so cheap that it won’t pay for the level it needs. Also, the homeless situation is out of hand in Malibu.

I am inspired by the police, and others, who are willing to put their lives on the line every day. I will protect myself and my family, but the true heroes will put their lives on the line for others.

Keep your doors locked people. It will be a deterrent to people just walking into your house so you will have time to act.
I said lock your doors because I don’t usually carry when I am at home. During snake season I never go outside without my snake gun and I have weapons easily accessible all over the house. But I might need 5 seconds to grab one.
Just think of my home as a haunted house, and you do not want to join the other residents.
