President Joe Biden’s ATF director, Steven Dettelbach, tendered his resignation on December 20, 2024 with an effective date of January 18, 2025 — two days before Donald Trump is inaugurated.
The Firearms Policy Coalition reacted to Dettelbach’s resignation with a post to X, which said, “ICYMI [in case you missed it]: ATF Director Steve Dettelbach has tendered his resignation, effective Jan 18th. It’s a great start to 2025.” more

The rats are leaving the sinking ship.
The ineffective, anti-liberty and weaponized ATF equals the incompetence of the Biden administration, DOJ, FBI and most Biden appointees in every agency.
The loss of Dettelbach is not a loss at all. His resignation will hopefully usher in elimination of the ATF and full recognition of the 2nd Amendment by the Trump Presidency.
All the BATFAGS need to go.
What are the chances DOGE will get rid of ATF?
Wonder if the Democrats have something planned 2 days before the inauguration. 🤔
Ok Steve, take some time to put your affairs in order, you may be spending some time away from home.
Oh, and Steve?
Don’t leave town.
In videos showing the NO truck bomber you can see people are being tracked by city cameras. Two girls just walking down the street are put in tracking boxes. There is no freedom left when the gov is tracking everywhere you go. They will use these attacks as excuses to take away more freedom.
Please put him on the No Fly list !!
Good riddance. He was even stupider than he looked. A common trait of the Biden administration.
Those bounding boxes are object recognition analytics, eg people detection to make motion detection much more accurate. It isn’t for tracking people. The facial recognition stuff, well that’s a different story.
Waiting times for suppressors is down to under a week. It used to be a year or longer. I’ve been told that Congressman Brian Babin threatened to severely cut the budget of the ATF if they didn’t do their job in a timely manner. The rat bastards were dragging the applications down the slow lane for years just because they could. The ATF sucks mightily!
