Joe Rogan: ‘Artists, Musicians, Comedians Thanked Me for Endorsing Trump Because They Can’t Do It Because They’d Be Attacked’

Breitbart

Podcast king Joe Rogan told his audience that artists, musicians, and comedians have thanked him for endorsing Donald Trump because they were afraid to do so for fear of having their careers destroyed.

Speaking to New York-based legal advisor Josh Dubin, Rogan noted that too many Americans are afraid to exercise their First Amendment rights to freedom of speech because of the radical left’s oppressive speech codes and cancel culture.

“There’s a lot of people that don’t speak their mind,” Rogan said at the outset of his discussion on free speech. “So you know how many artists that have reached out to me that are like fucking hippies, man! Like artists, like musicians, comedians, that thanked me for endorsing Trump because they can’t do it.”

Rogan gave Trump his endorsement on the day before Election Day this month.

“They said they want to but they don’t want to get attacked,” the nation’s most popular podcaster continued. “They can’t say it. They think the country’s going in the wrong direction They think that this control of social media by the government which we would have pretty much fully if it wasn’t for Elon Musk buying Twitter.” more

  1. Not a surprise..
Just remember that the next time you decide to spend money to see one of these COWARDS portray a ‘superhero’ in another Hollywood farce! Or record music full of BS lyrics revealing their ‘deep thoughts’.

  2. I get that these artists are fearful of losing their livelihoods because of woke, but they’re cowards. They’re undoubtedly making their living off people who, if those people knew the artist’s political views, would hate them and stop their patronage. What these artists haven’t figured out is that if they had come out with their support of POTUS Trump, their livelihoods would be secured by conservatives who might know them better and support them. Of course, if they’re singing songs or doing art that is bad, untruthful, and ugly…well, that’s another matter.

How much worse was it supposed to get before those in the public sphere voiced their loyalty to America?

Full disclosure: I live and work in the belly of Woke. I NEVER talk politics with my customers. One ugly review on social media and POOF! no eyebrows. And no matter how good I am at what I do (and I’ve got the receipts), all my Atta Girls couldn’t overcome the hivemind. But I’m not what you’d call a public figure, so I silently carry on. I consider my work a vehicle, a mission field, for another kind of precarious witness; that of Jesus Christ, and him crucified. I think that’s enough risk for one sole proprietor. (And boy! could I tell you some stories!)
