Kasich loves the millennials, a term he uses liberally, seemingly to describe anyone under the age of 40. He sees potential voters who are embarrassed by Trump and open to a responsible conservative who’s moved, as Kasich has in recent months, to the left on gun control in response to deadly mass shootings.
Kasich’s new conversation pieces range from HQ, the mobile trivia game, to YouTube celebrity Logan Paul (who entered the wider public consciousness after he filmed a video inside a Japanese “suicide forest”). He also wants you to know he listens to Justin Bieber, dropping the pop star’s name too often (a statehouse press conference, a New York Magazine interview, a ride-along with the Weekly Standard) for it to be a coincidence.
“This social media is really fascinating to me, whether it’s YouTube, whether it’s some sort of YouTube channel, I don’t know,” Kasich said as he promised to step up his Twitter game. “I have a million Twitter followers, which I think is really cool.”
Okay, this is more painful than Hillary Clinton telling a black urban radio audience that she carries hot sauce.
Just wait till they see his Karate-chop-speaking style.

I still laugh thinking about Trump making fun of Kasich for shoveling food into his mouth. If Kasich is foolish enough (we all know he’s a fool) to run against Trump, I can only imagine how Trump will rip on him.

He must’ve watched a replay of his interview w Dave Rubin last week, read the comments and attempted to ramp up the
Rubin asked a q about his stance on socialized health care. Kasich ramped up the crazy, took off on his next tangent that ended by telling a story, something about his mother taking him to ride a donkey and paid the man who owned the donkey extra money because he had a gimpy eye or something. Wtf? Never did answer the q.

I’m pretty sure he could not win dog catcher if he were to run here statewide. His fall from grace is way worse than the “news” let’s on. Vast majority of people I know wish he would retire early and collect stamps.

The local news airs Kasich ranting over the outrage du jour (usually something Trum did or said) from a garden, or park when it is warm outside. That should be starting up again, shortly. It is beyond painful to watch.
Meanwhile, DeWine is angling for the governor’s office, airing commercials with his wife opining about how he’s SO pro-life… Ugh!
