John Stossel should move to New Hampshire where Constitutional Carry exists, but you can still get a CCP for the low price of $10 for five years just so you have reciprocity with 26 other states.

OHIO, Constitutional carry; Gun owners have always had the ability to openly carry a handgun.
On June 13, 2022, residents of Ohio over the age of 21 who might otherwise qualify to obtain a Concealed Handgun License (CHL), will no longer be legally obligated to do so in order to carry a concealed handgun.
Not all states have a reciprocal agreement for those who do not possess an Ohio CHL.
That’s what happens when your an honest law abiding rule follower. Wake up and be free as born and shake the shackles instead of waking up dead.

Keep in mind that a decade ago one of the circuit courts forced the entire state of Illinois to allow CCW as ‘shall issue’, meaning anyone without a felony can get one. So that is the standard, it just needs to be ruled by SCOTUS.
Of course Illinois is resisting in any way it can, but that’s beside the point.
Kentucky has Constitutional carry, but I like to get the permit so there’s no hassle in recip states.

That’s right. And on the practical side I’ve had a carry permit since Christ as a kid. I have never been stopped or asked about that weird bulge is on my hip.
