Judeo-Christian Values

Dennis Prager in American Greatness

The term “Judeo-Christian values” is frequently used.

I am one who uses it.

I do so for the same reason the late great British prime minister Margaret Thatcher did. “The truths of the Judaic-Christian tradition,” she said, “are infinitely precious, not only, as I believe, because they are true, but also because they provide the moral impulse which alone can lead to that peace, in the true meaning of the word, for which we all long . . . There is little hope for democracy if the hearts of men and women in democratic societies cannot be touched by a call to something greater than themselves.” Revelation

  1. Was big Maggie fan. She told the world the truth 25 years ago. Tony would turn Uk into a ROP 3rd world country. Bush and Rove said she was a lunatic!
Who do you think was honest, Maggie or Rove?
I already admitted I love Maggie.

  2. If Aeschylus was correct that “In war, truth is the first casualty.”
Then this war between Good and Evil has been going on a looooooonnnnnnngggggg time.

    Since “The Fall?”

Though at this juncture, Evil seems to prevail.

Judeo-Christian values have been under attack since Moses came down off Sinai with the Tablets.

  3. While ‘judeo-christian’ values are rooted in The Word, like all of man’s works, they have slid down the proverbial ‘slippery slope’, following after the dark hard hearts of men. They are NOT YHWH’s values, they are man’s ‘revisions and improvements’ on what was already PERFECT. So, now, not so much.

Evil, wicked, bad all come from the same Hebrew root word ‘rah’. It is walking or doing that which is counter to YHWH’s EVERLASTING Way of Truth in Life. If you are not walking in His Way, you are not walking in the Way of covenant righteousness.

America broke from Judeo-Christian values when they started killing their babies. Rough road ahead.

And when prayer was taken out of schools. We know who got that going in the Supreme Court – Madalyn Murray O’Hair. She and a couple of her associates were all brutally murdered – she was turned into hamburger so to speak. She got her come uppins in her life. However, she was human and easily dealt with, it’s the unseen force4s that continues to cause havoc. I can see the contrast between O’Hair and The Iron Maiden, evil versus good.

  5. There are Christian values. There are Judeo values. Some overlap. Some don’t. I always hated the term Judeo-Christian and I seriously object to the term when it is used to describe the values that this country was founded upon. This country was founded upon Christian values. Those are the values we need to once again embrace to make America great again.

  6. Well, I worship Jesus Christ, not Judeo-Christ. Reference what the talmud has to say about Jesus Christ, then get back to me about Judeo-Christian ‘values.’
