Judicial Watch Files Lawsuit for Teacher Fired for Facebook Posts Criticizing Looting and Violence in the Aftermath of George Floyd Killing

There is no 1st amendment if you dare discuss the reality of the cherished, but problematic, institutions of the left.

Judicial Watch announced today that it has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit on behalf of Palatine, Illinois tenured high school teacher Jeanne Hedgepeth, who was fired by the suburban-Chicago school district where she had worked for 20 years after posting comments on Facebook criticizing the riots, violence, and shootings in Chicago in the aftermath of the May 25, 2020, killing of George Floyd. Hedgepeth made the posts on her personal Facebook page while vacationing after the end of the school year, just as some of the most severe violence was occurring. In her posts, Hedgepeth recommended studying Thomas Sowell, whom she described as a “treasure” and a “truth seeker,” and praised political commentator and activist Candice Owens and talk show host Larry Elder. She alleges that the firing violated her First Amendment rights.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, seeks damages from the school district, Township High School District 211, and district board members and officials who participated directly in the firing (Hedgepeth v. Britton et al. (Case No. 1:21-cv-03890)).

  1. We saw the sweeping totalitarianism of the left in the tyrannical communist and socialist regimes that existed in the 20th century, and looked with concern as leftists marched into public education and took that sphere over, but what we never really believed was that same evil totalitarian leftism would take over the U.S. government.

  2. Dont use the word “killing” in connection with George Floyd Use “fentanyl poisoning” or fentanyl overdose

In the past 12 months synthetic opioids, mostly fent, have killed 50K. In the past five years its been more 150K

How many have died as a result of the knee control technique in the past five years. Near as I can tell .. 2 families of white kids have tried to sue cops for the death of their kids. Guess what they got for their trouble. Zero, zip nada .. because it was ruled that their excited deliriumwas the cause of their death. And of course they were both white

In the case of Tony Timpa, he was knee restrained by a cop of about equal weight for 14 minutes. In the case of Nick Gilbert, a kid who was only 5’3″ and 150 lbs he was restrained by a much larger cop for 14 minutes

George Floyd weighed 225 lbs, while Detek Chauvin weighed only 140 lbs. How many of you realized how small Chauvin was? And the knee hold lasted only 8 minutes. In other words, what Chauvin did was about half as bad as what the other two cops did .. who werent
charged. In fact what Chauvin did was probably one of the least abusive applications of this technique, ever … given the disparity of size between him and Fentanyl Floyd
