I just received a generous package of Safety Whistles which are dedicated to the memory of Menderman’s brother, Keith.
Regular readers know that Menderman lost his brother in a boating accident where a simple whistle might have saved his life.
Menderman’s package came complete with the whistles, mailing labels, envelopes and stamps.
Keith was a great American, and he’d want to get these most important whistles in the hands of his fellow patriots.
Menderman, along with his brother Keith’s memory, will be sponsoring the iOTWreport giveaways from time to time.
Don’t let it throw you that a symbol of such gravitas will be folded into some of our outrageous contests. Keith was a fun-loving man with a great sense of humor.
Keith, who was a reader of this blog, will remain part of this blog.
Thank you Menderman.
Menderman,
May God bless your family and may God rest Keith. Sorry for you lost brother. I didn’t know.
I have my ‘Keith’ whistle hanging right next to me as I type this. God bless you, Menderman.
Beautiful. What a great way to honor your brother, Menderman.
My condolences Menderman
Keep up the good work, Menderman. Looks like I need a whistle.
As a wife of a boating safety instructor, I am really touched, Mr. Menderman. To your brother, fair winds and following seas.
Thank you Menderman, sincerely.
The whistles are a fine tribute to your brother.
Thanks everybody! Our family has given out over 2,000 “wearable” whistles to boaters, hunter, hikers and more! It’s something many people don’t think about until they need one, but all outdoor enthusiasts should wear one. I’m looking forward to the creative way Big Fur Hat will come up with to hand them out!
