Khizr Khan’s travel status under review

Spero: Khizr Khan, an attorney of Pakistani origin who denounced Donald Trump at last year’s Democratic National Convention, canceled a scheduled speech in Canada after being told his “travel privileges are being reviewed,” according to the event organizer Ramsay Talks.
Khan is a Muslim has lived in the U.S. since 1980 and is a naturalized citizen of the United States. So far, it is not clear which authorities had contacted Khan or which travel privileges are being reviewed. U.S. Customs and Border Protection declined to comment about Khan specifically. While it is not clear whether it is the case with Khan, but the federal government does notify people who are losing their membership in the Global Entry program that allows pre-screened travelers to go through customs quickly upon arriving in the country.

  1. I smell BS. Travel isn’t a “privilege”, It’s a right. Unless he has a warrant, is under subpoena, or his Visa has been revoked. None of this appears to have happened.

More fake news for the perpetual TrumpRage™ cycle.

  2. The only thing I know about this story is what I read here. However, the Global Entry Program is a ticket through the fast lane because a person is “prescreened.” It is not saying he can’t travel, just that he has to go through the customary screening procedures.

  3. Fake news.
    More Muslim Hoax Victim Teqqiyah.

Trump needs to formally declare the Muslim Brotherhood a criminal Terrorist Organization.
That is an easy pen-and-phone order.

Then the asset confiscations and mass arrests can proceed.
Khan can sit penniless in a Federal cell staring at his cancelled passport while awaiting his citizenship revocation and deportation to Pakistan.

  4. joe6pak, that is not the case here. He’s an American citizen. From Kent v. Dulles, 357 U.S. 116 (1958:

“The right to travel is a part of the ‘liberty’ of which the citizen cannot be deprived without due process of law under the Fifth Amendment. If that “liberty” is to be regulated, it must be pursuant to the law-making functions of the Congress…”

  5. I’m a member of Global Entry, and the only things it gets me is TSA Pre-Check to not have to “disrobe” take off my belt, shoes, or show my liquids or laptop when I board a flight; upon reentry I get to avoid the long line at passport control by using a kiosk to scan my passport and my fingerprints to verify my identity. I still have to make a customs declaration like everyone else.
Global Entry does not have anything to do with leaving the country, so I’d say that the Global Entry item is speculation, at best.

  6. Khan-man clearly isn’t familiar with how the TSA and DHS works—my 20 something kids both flew back from Asia on one-way tickets originating in Qatar—and they were immediately given the gift of “SSSS” on their boarding passes as a result. Which means you go thru the scanner, you get a pat-down, and the TSA goes thru every inch of all your luggage. They called the ‘redress’ number and were given NO REASON for it, but a friend in law enforcement told us the one-way ticket from the Mid-East was the reason. No Mr. Khan, you’re not ‘special’, you’re a political puppet of the left, and there’s a new boss pulling the strings. Suck it

  7. I believe that the IRS just announced last month that they’d be requesting State to revoke passports of tax deadbeats. I wonder if Daddy Dearest perhaps is in overdrive on his 1040 arrearages?

  8. Give these sand puppets free reign that they’re not used to and don’t know how to handle, and they’re liable to get into all kinds of trouble. He should stick to something with which he’s already familiar, like barn yard animals and how to groom them for future activities.

  9. This guy Khan, to me, is a low life Kon man, an opportunist, who will only be cuddled by the leftist anti-American scum and the MSM.
His citizenship should be revoked and he should be sent packing, with a boot up his arse.
