3. Isn’t that special? I could say why I don’t like that but I would only come off sounding like a jackass. But I will say I don’t like cute little kids playing with telephones. So what happened, did the police just happen catch a bad guy dressed as the Grinch? Gimmie a break. See I sound like a jackass.

   I know, I know where you’re coming from. I have a teeny bit of cynicism too. I’m happy the police have nothing else to do in that town void of crime.
   But back in the day, in Mayberry, the police did work with the public forging a trust and a good attitude. The’d play some touch football with their gun belt on the hood of a car… and we liked it like that.

7. The kid is adorable. He called the cops to report potential theft rather than getting a piece of the action.

    The dad was on the phone in three seconds to apologize. The kid was just doing what he thought was his civic duty. And the cops used the whole situation to foster good public relations in the community.
    Perfect Christmas story.
