Kim Foxx begins early release program for prisoners with a home invader, an aggravated robber, and a burglar, all with lengthy records

Kim Foxx, the Soros-supported top prosecutor in Cook County, Illinois, is taking advantage of a new law in that state that allows prosecutors to identify prisoners whose further incarceration “no longer advances the interests of justice.” Like other Soros prosecutors, she is a critic of “mass incarceration,” and has big plans, as Patrick Smith of WBEZ writes:

Three Cook County prosecutors are assigned to work on resentencing motions, but they will only be working on the initiative part time. Foxx said her goal is to expand the program so there are dedicated staffers assigned and she said she eventually wants to loosen the criteria for eligibility. She said she did not know how many prisoners might fit the current criteria, but estimated a potential pool of “thousands” of people.

She just announced the first convicts to be freed, and, curiously, they have relatively little time left behind bars, anyway. But they are also career criminals, as CWB Chicago reports: MORE

  1. She’s Letting them out early because they showed promising abilities to make Molotov Cocktails just in time for the Spring Rioting Season.

  2. What is this “Mass Incarceration”?? The only mass incarceration that happened recently was to the J6 demonstrators, who wanted justice done in the 2020 election.

These other inmates are INDIVIDUALS, who committed felony after felony after felony and need to fulfill their sentences to THE END. No more 1/2 time off for ‘good behavior.’ If the majority are these inmates are peoples of color, then that’s the way those INDIVIDUALS led their criminal lives.

This is an affirmative action release — getting out without fulfilling the requirements.

  3. Clearly the system is broken when a jury convicts, a judge sentences, and then a district attorney can come in, after the fact, and negate part of the sentence.

We got to minimum sentencing laws because the public felt judges were being too lenient. Where do you think this will end?

  4. I know it might be profiling, but
13% of the US population, commit 52% of crime.

St. Louis: 13% Black Population Causes 74% of Crime, 92% of Murder.

Turns out the black 13% of the population, 50% of the crime meme is not only true for the United States but also in London.
