Kraft Heinz said on Tuesday it would split into two publicly-listed companies, one focusing on the sauces business and the other on groceries, as the U.S. packaged goods maker aims to revive growth after years of muted sales. The one, called the “Global Taste Elevation Co,” houses brands such as Heinz, Philadelphia and Kraft Mac & Cheese, while the other, called “North American Grocery Co,” consists of Oscar Mayer, Kraft Singles and Lunchables labels.
The sauces unit raked in about $15.4 billion in sales in 2024, while the grocery business generated about $10.4 billion in sales. More

Their tag line will be:
“Do you know who we are?”
Kraft wants to drop the dead weight that is the ‘Heinz’ brand.
I have not (for years) and will not ever buy that brand.
You’d think they would separate the sauces from the dry goods, but nope they’re splitting along domestic vs. international lines and even renaming each based on that division.
Seems weird to build global brands then trash the whole structure. I wonder if tariffs had anything to do with this change in corporate structure.
Just change all the brand names to Blackrock and be done with it. Who are they kidding?
BTW, all their sauces taste like corn syrup + spice.
