Good morning Lady C. Nice selection you’ve got there, but I notice that lazy outweighs working a bit. It is easier to find…
…my girls were out on a cool Easter morning trying to catch some rays, I’d never seen this behavior before and I thought there was something wrong with them at first. It might not be fair to call them lazy though, they’re pretty darn good layers and may have just got done doing just that…
…they are Easter eggers and their eggs are better than store bought, but considering the expense of the coop, the run, the supply shed, the supplies, the feed, and the constant care, they are easily the most expensive “free” eggs I’ve ever had, but raising these ladies from chicks made my wife happy, so they’re totally worth it for that alone, never mind the eggs.
Enjoy these critters and this glorious Sunday everyone.
God Bless,

Good morning. Hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day.
I tried to find an appropriate fox picture. I searched “hard working fox” but all that was displayed were pictures of pole dancers…
Love it! We are DEFINITELY having a lazy day at Fortress Bayouwulf
Yep. Lazy definitely outweighs the Laborers.
Guess animals are like humans, after all (not meaning any insult to the animals).
Thanks, Claudia!
That’s quite a mix today.
Afternoon all.
‘Lazy’ for us here, as it is a bit rainy and overcast in lower NY.
Buds and Kilo could be “brothers from another mother”.
Thanks C!
Have a great and strong week.
Hi Claudia – great lazy days of summer photo. Buds always relaxing when he can. Violet precious in that pose!
Say your prayers everyday!
God Bless us all.
