I have found that these beautiful Danish peoples have an ear for (especially) choral vocals. These are special people.
Making an old pop song with lofty themes into an orchestral piece is fraught with the danger of the whole thing being cheesy with shlock.
Given the very real possibility of creating something wholly forgettable they did the opposite and brought this work back of suspended animation and breathe new life into it.
At least that was my impression.
