“Feelings….nothing more than feelings…” <— leftist theme chorus.
Libtard: “What’s that jiggidy/jaggedy button at the upper right?”
Rational Person: “Do you mean the square root function?”
Libtard: “Ahhhhhhhhhhh! You’re oppressing me!”
Jethro – Itz for landscapers…

…well, if it’s ancient calculator jokes you want…
“Dolly Parton wears bra size 69 (type 69 into the calculator). That’s too, too, too big. (type 2 2 2). The doctor gives her fifty-one pills (type 51) to take for 8 days (type x 8). And she ends up….”
(No peeking, do the math, then turn the calculator over…)

Maff Prollem:
Shatiqua works at Private run business where her boss had decided to pay her above the minimum wage $18/hr. She routinely shows up 15 to 20 minutes late for work. She also has a habit texting on her cell phone to her friends while ignoring customers and sometimes is outright hostile towards them.
Part a)
How much of a raise should she get after her first 3 months.
Part b)
Assuming she celebrates non traditional holidays and that she averages 7 hours a week, how many hours should she get payed for said holidays in total. (hint: calculate how many non traditional holidays there are and should she get paid 7 or 8 hours)
Part C:
Given that her employer is EXPLOITING HER for LABOUR, After 3 months of having her on payroll, How much time in prison should her employer receive for giving her a job?
Google “the LA math test”. You won’t be disappointed.
@Kcir (cause I give a kcuf)
Here’s the problem:
Shatiqua works
(no she doesn’t, she has four kids by four baby-daddies and milks the system like her mama taught her)
These work best on seven-segment number displays.

Someone should produce an app to turn your phone calculator into an old school version.
I still use my old TI SR-10
I still use my TI-55III at work. I changed the cell battery twice in almost 40 years. I still have the instruction booklet.
For the SR-10 I replaced the 3 nicads with a single lithium battery.
And I still remember the Texas Instruments calculators that first came out in 1972 costing about $250 in real 1972 money. I graduated from HS in 1971 and calculators weren’t even on the market yet, we were still using slide rules in HS back than.
geoff – Similar story… I started the first year of college using a slide rule and lusted over a calculator. In the second year the Plain Dealer ran an ad for the TI SR-10 for $125.00 from the May Co. (down from that stratospheric $250)
I threw down the paper and went out and bought that calculator ASAP. 50 years later it’s still working for me! Of course I’ve had other calculators and computers, but it’s kinda cool to use that old anntique too. If you still have it hard-wire a single 300mahr lithium into it and use the power connector to charge if witb. you will need a little dedicated lithium charger for it. Charger boards are available for a few dollars or you can use a single cell charger that you may have laying around (like for that $10.00 toy drone that is laying in a drawer somewhere)
Or you can just buy a $9.00 toy drone, take the battery out of it and wind up with both the battery and the charger!

My calculator is even older than yours, it’s an HP12C – the staple of finance professionals back in the day.
Oh, and like you, still aint getting the jab.
