Just started watching. Gratiot is pronounced ‘grashit’ by us here in the midwest. We know we’re mispronouncing it but hey, it’s what we do! No French pronunciations for us.

Look what happen to South Africa under leftist rule. It had the highest standards of living, most powerful military, the greatest economy and producers on the continent. Apartheid with it slums were wrong , but under leftist rule the whole country is a slum.

detroit is ripe for redevelopment. it is already reduced to wide open spaces, and can’t really get any worse. hipster leftists will not get the job done, however, because they will keep the democrat tax vampires in power.

In Baltimore the distance between the bustling center and slums is even shorter. At least in Detroilet they tear the abandoned buildings down.
By the way – that “mistrial” was called today because they realized if they forced the jury to deliberate any more they would find Porter 100% innocent and the riots would resume in a matter of minutes. The powder keg is smoldering….
