I’ve told this story often.
In New York we had an AM station called 1010 WINS that did headline news that was repeated every 12 minutes or so.
Irony calls me one day and says, “turn on 1010 and wait for the headlines.”
It was a story about the Chinese leader coming to America and actually answering a question about Tiananmen Square. He said they made mistakes.
The announcer said, “the Chinese leader admits mistakes, softening their stance and making a significant move away from the right.”
WHAT DID I JUST HEAR?????
We called and complained and asked them to correct their idiotic report. If they are softening their hardline ideology they are moving to THE RIGHT.
It doesn’t get any more leftwing than CHINA.
You see, to a low IQ leftist, they are on the correct side of history. So if someone is moving away from an evil they are moving towards them. This attitude seems to be prevalent on Twitter, too.
One numbskull said that the Tank Man was a student who was “a liberal and an ultra-communist,” implying that the tanks were filled with soldiers doing the dirty work for a rightwing government.
No.
The students were protesting the communist government who stated that there was a “spiritual pollution” afoot. That spiritual pollution was “westernism and capitalism.”
The students were protesting one party rule, lack of freedom in the press and wanted to see the salaries of the communist leaders. It doesn’t sound like they were protesting that the communists weren’t “ultra” enough.
Of course, what these communist loving revisionists will say is that China wasn’t practicing “authentic and real communism.” That’s what they say about every communist regime. And that’s what they mean when they say Tank Man wasn’t standing up to communism. They mean he was standing up to right-wing tainted communism.
Tank Man is the communist ideal, like an American communist college student. The tanks are Trump.

Their “right” wing accusation about the tank man is called projection. That is exactly what the left envisions for all of us, under the boot of leftist control.
At the time, as best I recall, there was no attempt at such absurd lies about what had just taken place. Everyone knew what was what and the Left kept their mouths shut. There was nothing they could say.
Now, decades removed from the facts, instantaneously able to deceive and influence other ignorant fools, and able to thorougly block anyone who’d refute them, there’s no limit to how far they will take this retardivision of history.
I’m not suggesting for a second that the liar who put this out should be doxxed and exposed as the liar he/she is. That would be Alinskyish and our side is supposed to be better than that. Nope, not suggesting that at all.

1010 WINS… traffic and weather on the ’10’s’. Great listening for a trucker trying to get through the city. AM 770 also did the same thing on the ‘7’s’ but I can’t recall their call sign.
It’s not so much “news” as it is narrative ‘splaining.
I think their leader said recently that the Chinese culture and economy were based on Marx. What could be clearer?
Of course, US Marxists in the 1970’s claimed that the USSR was based on a system of State Capitalism – i.e., fascism, which is about what China has now.
Three things- China is now the worlds #1 Fascist power, the Antifa turds should turn their attention to China, and socialism and Fascism have the same goals.
