A grade school in Johnson County, KY put on “It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas” last night. Only instead of the moving recitation of the Gospel of Luke by Linus, the children were instructed to stand in silence on stage when that part of the play was presented.
All because one person threatened to sue the school if they did not cut that part out. School administrators were frightened into censoring the children’s play and even took “Silent Night” out of the production.
Fucking cowards.
We don’t have these problems, our children attend private schools and they had a wonderful Christmas play, the left loon’s heads would have spun and exploded
So they eliminated the meaning of Christmas. Why bother?
That would be a good time for all the students to display their suitcase clocks.
WTF is wrong with people? Check yourselves into a mental hospital, it Christmas!
Threaten to sue the school for teaching your kids to be fucking idiots!
The parents did exactly what Glenn Beck advised on the radio the morning before the play. When the Bible verse came up, the students remained silent, but all the parents in the bleachers stood and recited it!
Go public with the lawsuit guy’s name.
If you don’t want to see anything “offensive”, don’t effing GO to the event.
The middle-schooler, her dad and an atty from a religious (pro) freedom outfit were on Cavuto’s show this afternoon. The host asked the young girl who threatened the suit. She said no one knew the name. All the school told them was that it was the father of a kindergartener.
Of course that one person doesn’t have the guts to come forward in public and complain. No doubt it was anonymous, and the rules require that they do not reveal who it was.
Bet me that complainer doesn’t have any kids in school.
It is exactly this kind of bullshit that is driving the campaign of Donald Trump.

The person didn’t just complain, he threatened to sue. That threat was enough to get the school administrators to buckle under and even mis-interpret the SCOTUS ruling.
Sounds like the schools admins in Kentucky aren’t getting enough KY with their ass-screwin’.
