TTC: During his CPAC Dallas speech, President Donald Trump spoke about a letter from the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, William McSwain, saying that he was not allowed to do his job, Trump said, to investigate allegations involving the election.
Now Trump has released the letter McSwain wrote to him and it’s definitely interesting.
In it, McSwain, says the election was a “partisan disgrace,” that the Democratic officials “made up their own rules and did not follow the law.” and he said that Trump had a right to be upset about it. more
Yep, and Barr’s purported appointment of Durham as Special Counsel; in all things Russiagate, was unconstitutional on its face. SI’s must come from outside the government, and Durham was anything but from outside the government. Barr knew this when he made the appointment, but, until it’s determined to be invalid, it serves as a wall between any legislative or third party inquiries into anything remotely concerning the SI’s investigation.*

The lesson to be learned here is that no matter one’s pedigree, no matter what you think of him or what he said or did in the past, when anyone is elevated to a position of influence and power, watch him like a hawk. A tight leash, constant scrutiny, and the clear understanding that your job is tenuous at best conditioned only on the pleasure of your boss, the president. Once that trust is betrayed for any reason, show him the door.
