Live For Those That Can’t

A Mat Best, Article 15 video, about 2 fallen brothers in Iraq. It’s not the usual irreverence one expects from the Art 15 crew. It gives a little backstory to why their group was formed, and why they are dedicated to helping soldiers who’ve fallen victim to PTSD.

  1. It’s difficult to know how to help. My son stood suicide watch over one of his best friends during his last NG summer camp. One of my nephew’s Marine buddies committed suicide at Christmas time.

And I met a dear old friend I’d not seen in decades, who finally talked about his time in SE Asia and how hard it was to find anyone to talk to about it who would be understanding and non-judgmental.

Then last week I had lunch with a young customer who confided some of the things he’s trying to cope with the residue from four tours as a combat infantryman.

These are all rock solid, genuinely good men and I don’t think anyone knows what to do for them.
