Living It Up At The CFPB – IOTW Report

Living It Up At The CFPB

The current director of the Consumer Financial Protection Board invited the Daily Caller to tour the luxury office space furnished by tax payers. The first impression one gets is the open space enjoyed by employees, as well as the modern furnishings, which gives the feel of a grand hotel than a burdensome federal bureaucracy.

Then there is the athletic facility reserved just for CFPB employees, the hundred of thousands spent renovating the plaza in front of the building, the modern efficient employee kitchens, and the thousands spent on each powered desk and height adjustable tables. More

Feel free to share pictures of your work area and break space where you work.

  1. There wasn’t ever enough light to get a photo of my last work space and I didn’t have an infrared camera. But this is quite similar.

CFPB weenies should get, but only if they behave themselves, an army surplus metal desk, a two-drawer file cabinet, a dozen pencils with a razor blade sharpener, and a single-line phone without voicemail. Senior people should get a window opening onto an air shaft with dumpsters at the bottom for the veterinary clinic and Mongolian restaurant on either side of the office.

  2. As with all things communist – it looks like the Consumer Financial Protection Board is the exact opposite of what they’ve named it. Just like you can tell what dems are up to by what they are accusing other people of doing, you can tell what the agency actually does by looking at what they’ve named it and it’s the direct opposite of that. So the CFPB was set up to screw taxpayers out of more of their money and use it to fund people who don’t do honest work to destroy the people they are stealing from.

Throw Eliz Warren (and everyone else involved) in prison for fraud and embezzlement and shut it down.

  3. Has POTUS Trump tweeted these pictures out yet? I know he’ll be fried as soon as he sees them and looks at the cost/foot of the CFPB compound.

Does the article say who the architectural, design, furnishings team are? They all need to be in prison. Vets were dying while they took their coffee breaks.

  4. The CFPB was place under the FED so that it would never have to answer to congress. That’s the main reason it must be shuttered, it’s unconstitutional and a burden to the American people.

  5. Young man, there’s no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, ’cause you’re in a new town
There’s no need to be unhappy.

It’s fun to stay at the CFPB

  6. Cut the staff by 90% (by executuve order if necessary) move survivors into some old government buildings where there is space and sell the current building. Hire a temp to hold the smelling salts under Warrens nose.
