    Nope. A banger is a sausage and even though a sausage approximates the shape of a male appendage, that word is never used to describe it.

    Here are some British terms for it:

    Trouser snake
    Dangly bits
    Prick
    Willy

11. As a follow on, sausages got their nickname, “bangers”, during wartime when there were meat shortages. During both world wars there was less meat available, they filled their sausages more fat and cheap fillers that expanded rapidly under heat, causing the sausages to burst open violently in the pan. This is the reason why people called them bangers, it was a slang term that they used to refer to sausages, because bang is exactly what they would when you cooked them.
