In November 1991, Marvin Heemeyer took a vacation to Grand Lake, Colorado, fell in love, and decided to make it his home. Less than a year later, in April of 1992, he found himself the owner of a muffler shop he never intended to buy. Six months later, he tried to be a good citizen and connect the property to the town sewer system. What followed was a decade of delays, miscommunications, and lies that ate away at Marv’s business and his hope. In July of 2002, Marv stumbled across an auction ad for a Komatsu D355A bulldozer. Around this time, Marv began to perceive that he – and his bulldozer – were to be the instruments of God’s retribution against the corrupt. Two years later, on June 4, 2004, after welding himself inside his heavily modified Komatsu, Marv Heemeyer, a reasonable man, was compelled to do unreasonable things.

Modern mass shooters have done far more damage.
Quite well done
I’ve been getting this sent to me for a month and finally decided to watch it yesterday. It impressed me as 100% consistent with what I had already pieced together on my own after watching dozens of documentaries
Although I don’t have time to listen to it, it seems the local government pushed someone with the capability to make essentially a tank a bit too far.
Many small communities are very tight in a good way, but this opens opportunity to gang up on people that do not fit well within the community. Mob mentality and all that.
One guy had a good comment, “if I was to buy a bulldozer one day I’d name it Marvin”. I hope I go down with as much style as Marv Heemeyer.
Not in my budget, but I fully understand his rage.
I can hear the Wojacks now, screaming “Nobody needs an assault bulldozer!” as they push for bulldozer purchase background checks and other sEnSiBLe TrEaD cOnTrOL laws.
Bureaucrats are a useless and destructive life form.
I wonder what Rachel Corrie’s take on this would be.
“You can’t fight city hall”.
But you can mow it over.
made time to finish the video. good example of why local leaders should be changed out every cycle with the dumbest rock you can find. a dysfunctional government is a friend to freedom.
