  1. And Dems got nothing out of it.
However… there is that 0-Care cliff hitting January 1, and that is going to make things very ugly. The question is whether the GOP, which holds House, Senate, and Presidency, has the will to fix it properly or will allow 0-Care to continue to exist.
Of course that would entail overcoming the filibuster. But as we learned recently, the original filibuster stood only as long as the opposition was speaking on the Senate floor – so just let them vent for 3 days until they are done, then pass the thing.

    Compete Insanity!

  4. If all 13 appropriations bills can get passed through both Houses and Trump get them signed before time runs out in January, we will not need another CR because we will basically have a budget, so the Leftists can not shut the Government down again unless the Radical Ones try to physically try to blow up the Capital Building and the White House.

  5. Re-establish benefits AFTER they are re-qualified! This is the opportunity to scrub the roster and of deadbeats, dead people and people who are scamming the system, especially the ones getting double benefits by signing up twice! We won’t be able to completely eliminate fraud, but we can put a good sized dent in it!

  6. I haven’t seen any indication that the lobbyists have had time to work on writing the required appropriations bills. Surely, nobody is suggesting their Congressman or a Committee has put any work into these?
